Flat Horse is a mountainous area of ​​San Gabriel in the Angeles National Forest just north of Los Angeles. This place is known as the US Forest Service camp (open 1 April to 15 November) and for excellent granite boulders near the campground. This is off of California State Route 2. The altitude is 5,800 ft. Closed in winter. At the camp is Mount Hillyer Trail, which connects to the Moccasin Silver Trail.
