Tommy Walsh (born December 18, 1956), is a British TV personality, the best known celebrity presenter and builder for DIY Television shows such as Ground Force (1997-2005) and > Challenge the Walsh Challenge .

Life
Educated at the Parmiter School, then grammatical school in Bethnal Green, Walsh became the builder and first became public attention after appearing on the BBC television programming of the Army . He stayed with the show for the rest of his journey, from 1997 to 2005.
He currently lives in South Hackney, with his wife and three children. In addition to his television work, he runs his own building business and writes books about doing his own and garden repairs. He also has his own DIY brand that is sold in Poundland stores in the UK.
Walsh has a small acting role in the movie One . She is the guardian of the Stairway to Heaven Memorial Trust, and is the subject of the song "Tommy Walsh's Eco House" on the 2011 album 90 Bisodol (Crimond) by Half Man Half Biscuit. She also appeared on Lily Savage Blankety Blank.
