Great hunting games are great game hunts, almost always large terrestrial mammals, for meat, other animal by-products (such as horns or bones), trophies or sports. The term is historically associated with the hunting of the "Big Five" African game (lions, African elephants, Cape buffalo, leopard and rhinoceros), and with tigers and rhinos in the Indian subcontinent. Together with five large animals, many other species are hunted including kudu, antelope, and hartebeest. Deer, deer, caribou, bison, deer, and white-tailed deer are the biggest game hunted in North America, which is a massive hunting place done today.
Massive hunting is conducted in Africa, North America, South America, Europe, Asia and Australia. In Africa, lions, Cape buffalo, elephants, giraffes and other big game hunted. In North America, animals such as bears, wolves, caribou, deer, deer, crocodiles, wild pigs, sheep and bulls are hunted. In South America, deer and other species are hunted. In Europe, sheep, wild pigs, goats, deer, deer, and other species are hunted. In Asia, several species of deer, bears, sheep and other species are hunted. In Australia, several species of deer and wild boar are hunted.

Histori
Hunting a great game for food is an ancient practice, since thousands of years ago. It is related in Europe with the emergence of Aurignacian culture, although the fractures of the fossils of Neanderthals suggest a possible advance. Based on cave paintings, it appears that early humans hunted mammoths in groups, using a combination of spears or large stones, or alternatively keeping animals away from cliffs.

Method
Various methods of big-game hunting have been developed over the centuries. The main methods used today are stalking, ambush (hunting from the curtain), steering, trapping, or a combination thereof. Calling and fishing can be used to improve the effectiveness of any method or combination.
The reconnaissance method consists of following the animals up to the killing can be done. Generally the hunter approached the game secretly - disguise his appearance, aroma or sound depending on the most likely flavor to reveal him to his prey under the conditions. Stalks can routinely last for days for certain games under certain conditions. The tracking game for stalking is a skill that has been learned by hunters since prehistoric times, and used with great success today.
An ambush method, including hunting from a curtain, consists of setting or finding a means of protection or concealment to help reduce the possibility of a game detecting a hunter as he waits in an ambush or approaches his prey. Ground blinds, tree stands, cockpit fabrics, restroom curtains, and stand-alone structures are all used as curtains in today's hunting. All these curtains are used in the ambush method. Cocking cloth, or stalking curtains, is used to stalk prey but may still be considered an ambush. Generally, big game fishing including the use of curtains; all the methods described here can be used in combination.
The driving game, as a hunting method, is the act of directing the animal's movement to kill it. Games may be pushed into a trap; a fall that will kill him, as on a cliff; or to a position where a hunter can make a killing with his weapon. Driving is done by sending an agent, usually a dog or person, through the field where the animal is believed, and making enough noise or using another device to encourage the animal to move in the desired direction.
The use of vehicles in stalking and driving games can increase the range and speed of hunters, and therefore, their effectiveness. Vehicles can also be used as curtains. Land and air vehicles have been used in large game hunts, both for scouting locations and for stalks.
Armament
Portable weapons used for large-scale hunting include firearms, bows and arrows, spears, atlatl, and other long-range weapons, as well as melee weapons such as hammers, axes, knives and other bladed weapons.
By far the most common weapon used by hunters is firearms, and among the most common weapon weapons are the long-barreled rifles. Other firearms, such as rifles and pistols, are also used in large-scale hunting.
Large-caliber ammunition is considered the most effective in dropping large games effectively and humanely. The big game hunting ethics require a clean and humane killing, and most hunters work diligently to achieve this goal. Advances in ammunition and weapons to match have made further distance from the big game with a margin of error considered to be tolerable. Some common caliber and ammunition types for great hunting include.30-30 Winchester,.30-06 Springfield,.300 Winchester Magnum, and.358 Winchester. The caliber and the type of ammunition, and the firearms to shoot them, are numerous, and ballistics continues to rise to allow for hunting in extraordinary situations. The weight and shape of the cartridge, the size of the cartridge, the load and the type of powder, and almost every variable of gun ammunition constantly changing.
Bow and arrow hunting are popular and effective among skilled hunters for big games. There are different types of bows available, including long arcs, short bows, recurve bows, compound bows and crossbows, all made of various materials. Arrows are also made of various materials including wood, fiberglass, carbon fiber and others. Arrowheads have different configurations and materials.
Primitive hunting using spears, atlatl and other weapons is a popular skill among hunters looking for greater challenge and knowledge than conventional weaponry.
Ethics hunt
With greater competition among hunters and given the increasingly scarce resources, the need for ethical behavior from big game hunters has increased proportionally. Boone and Crockett Club and Pope and Young Club (for bow hunters) are both promoting fair hunting. Spanish philosopher JosÃÆ'à © Ortega y Gasset in his famous book Meditations on Hunting promotes a mindful approach to hunting. Author James Posewitz in his book Beyond Fair Chase: The Ethic and Tradition of Hunting , writes:
Fundamental to ethical hunting is the idea of ââa fair pursuit. This concept discusses the balance between hunters and hunted. This is a balance that allows hunters to occasionally succeed while animals generally avoid being taken.
Another writer, Allen Morris Jones, in his book The Hard Place of Violence: Hunting and Ethics on the Missouri River Breaks , argues that hunting is right as far as it returns us to the natural context from which we evolve, we. Even in the context of trophy hunting, we must eat what we kill, for example, given that our evolved role is one of predation.
